ABOUT THE PROJECT
A vibrant hotel in the heart of Amsterdam where finding your way through the multiple passages of this historical building, that used to be a lively theatre, becomes a memorable experience.
The hotel lobby is divided in contrasting scenes, each of them having a specific function and differentiated by colour palettes.
A bright corridor communicates all the different areas and is interrupted by dim walnut wood passages where some lines of light guide you to the next scene. Surprising elements can be found inside these warm aisles as confusing mirrors or quaint lounges, that make you feel in a Victorian burlesque show.
The key area of the hotel, the restaurant, is located in
the heart of the lobby. Like a theatre arena, brass lights on a black background resembling stage spotlights, a red colour palette integrating different textures and comfortable lounge seating, ensures a delightful food and drinks experience.
As the day gives way to the night, Eden hotel becomes a provocative music venue.
In the hotel basement, shared with Flowriders recording studio, an intimate gathering space and bar are located. The dim light creates the perfect intimate environment to enjoy a drink while enjoying live music.
